Innovations in aesthetics

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that works by using a state-of-the-art device designed for a controlled glide of sterile needles across the skin that creates microscopic punctures.

What skin types can be microneedled?

Safe and clinically proven for all skin types. This process can help fill fine lines, improve scars, smooth pores, reduce stretch marks, help with dark spots, and brighten your skins texture and tone.

What areas can you microneedle?

Microneedling isn’t exclusive to just the face. While it’s the area of skin that is most often treated, the procedure can be done anywhere the skin on the body needs a collagen boost, particularly those that have stretch marks, like the legs, chest, arms or glutes.

What to expect during a microneedling treatment

The entire process will take about 60 to 90 minutes. When you arrive, the provider will draw your blood for the PRP and numb your scalp. If you wish to opt out of PRP, peptides are available. The numbing and PRP process will take about 20 minutes. Once the numbing takes effect, the provider will cleanse the areas being treated before the microneedling begins. Since you are numbed, you should feel little to no pain.

What to expect after a microneedling treatment

For the next 24 hours, only wash your face with water. Microneedling leaves you red and sensitive for about 24-72 hours. Avoid retinol and acids, such as glycolic and salicylic. You should also avoid the sun for one week. Do not workout for the 72 hours after.

How many microneedling treatments do I need?

Every patient will get a treatment plan specifically for them. Usually is anywhere from 4-6.
For anti-aging purposes and maintenance, you would need 1 to 2 treatments a year.
